80s baby happy belated We made it out the crab bucket lightly sedated with scars on our ankles You either shooting or you been assisting with them angles I'm angular with the rules This game bout as predictable as a coin toss Y'all all chump change a bunch of coinstars My culture coins a phrase the world bites off Your culture killed and enslaved so now we on yall Wardrobe change to get these jokes off Nobody in your family owns land And its hard to land a job And the water's still toxic an hour north of Lansing All the dismounts and you still stick the landing And nobody is standing In the stands with their #1 finger up Round the way its an everyday thing for us So when the winter breaks, the streets heating up Bodies sunny side up family worries bout us I'm gone And I'm not coming back I've grown And I've known Aint no turning back

I woke up not you and that's a great thing So I glide through the room like the skate team Been on a trivial pursuit till the safes clean Make moves ask questions when the train leaves Twead suit with the bowler to match My suitcase a 911 Safari on the back Stickers from the shows of bands that never made it And tshirts for women to wear before they're naked We've lived a full life and then some But that dont mean we on a farewell tour That mean we back for, something we seen but didnt grab before They show us love like the Black Keys home from tour Flows nicer than Michelle Branch Wrote my way to a bag double that then we invest From now on nobody talk to me directly You call Holbrook and then from there we'll get active I dont want a lot of things in this world, I want it all/Its that simple Its nothing I can do for you dog if you cant see the big picture From now on nobody talk to me directly You call Holbrook and then from there we'll get active I never could become an agent I think its selfish when you know you not ready to stop playin Bum knee but my shot still amazing None of you bums exist without a playlist Jean Jacket in ya art musuem We know the artifacts names when we see em Africobra still alive through this black art Throw on a Nick Cave suit for the show start I'm not patient/So I need to see ya hands in the air right now for the greatness We not retro, we not vintage This is the lords work, the devils henchman Same year they kicked out Bob Stinson I felt younger than ever when I had spit this So nah nobody talk to me directly You call Holbrook and then from there we get active I dont want a lot of things in this world, I want it all/Its that simple Its nothing I can do for you dog if you cant see the big picture From now on nobody talk to me directly You call Holbrook and then from there we'll get active

It is past the point for you to not be aware of the flow I float like we have never been aware of the flo' Feel like I been humble so long That my karma should add up to a couple free verses from Hov Used to think that I would blow Back when Mike Jones was tipping on 44's So many careers have come and gone The metric that they use to cover success made me the black sheep with curls Scott Pilgrim vs The World, but man I swear that it (is getting old)(yeah) Watching y'all talk like pros but act like hoes All the while disrespecting the code Like they ain't tryna microchip every last one of our skulls (man) What a drag it is getting old Kids are different today What a drag it is getting old Mother needs something today to calm her down It is past the point to be pointless don't waste steps Put fire to the end of a joint tip and take breath They don't play yo joints 'less you acting a fool Or packing a tool He overdosed with Ac' in his drool Niggas is j's out here I be afraid I swear They locking niggas up who y'all think braid y'all hair in there Or twist your dreads up this just a head's up I ain't saying be scared of the feds Just getcho bread up on the low What a drag it is getting old Life's just much too hard today What a drag it is getting old Kids are different today What a drag it is getting old Mother needs something today to calm her down

When the money goes, will the honeys stay? Will the grey skies replace the sunny days? That's a question you gotta ask yourself When the goal is amassing wealth Arrogance is common when you can't see past your belt And them rings getting pawned when the pressures felt You know the story/American dreams turned to glory Watch it fall down suicide in his 40s Now the wife fighting with the kids for the Porsche's A shame what'll happen when we turn into corpses Worked ya whole life to have friends on your porches Reading what the banks about to do to your mortgage Still gotta maid & a porter Cause you gotta keep the show going like...WandaVision And if you dont, she won't have time to visit My wallet my choice just ain't realistic Money ain't the root uts the stage design Its gon show who you are when it's just the right time Mic check 2 1 2, you know the vibes Coming to you live for 1.99$ If know the words please sing into the mic And if you dont, well we gon double the price Mic check 2 1 2, you know wassup And if you don't... well I'm sorry for your luck Spouse gets the Benz & they repo'd the truck And you can see ya kids like every other month Check yaself before you wreck yaself You know they say the market always corrects itself So dont listen to the news or the scrolling on ya phone Just hit StockX tryna keep up with the Jones' Resell value...tripled in a moment Nice pair of shoes got you drippin while you homeless Hit her cash app & she sending you emojis Sent the laughing one, you must be the oldest Who would've known we'd turn beer to a barrier Bringing classism to a lower class area Some care too much, some just dont care enough Watch the neighborhood turn black & they be scared af So money can't buy happiness? But I never seen her frown when she got 5 karats And moved next door when she broke off the marriage She got to keep the ring and our friend Who's they you may ask? You know who they is. They're the neighbors with that new leased Genesis GV80. They're the Gen Z person with the Yeezys you didn't know were out. How is it they have all the things that you want? Well I'll tell you. They work for the Jones Corporation & you dont. With a minimum of 15 hours worked daily, you can put your lifestyle first. Worrying about bills, housing & food are a thing of the past. The Jones Corporation, work/life balance done right.

Easy to see how you could misconstrue severity Diamond in the rough you can find me seeking clarity America's a parody of arrogance Moving slower than the logo on a terrapin And I'm pretty sure it's not aware of it But who needs to be self aware when your identitys stolen The perception is broken Its harder to pass the wine to the masses through wine colored glasses Ashes to ashes New apple dropped but you cant eat a tablet Wait time long but ya kitchen been established I seen about 50 men fighting for a barrel of garbage Outside ya office, now only if they knew you hiding in the halls with a cross cause you sold out Recalculated too late you should know by now They jumping from the 45th floor Waking up in cold sweats when you learned that you poor And just like that we not so different anymore The yoke that you pulled so long ago/Is the reason why you'll never find rest unto your soul

about

“Black Tuesday!” is an album inspired by October 29th, 1929, the day that share prices on the New York Stock Exchange completely collapsed, becoming a pivotal factor in the emergence of the Great Depression.

Lyrically and sonically, Free Black! explores similarities and differences in the US economy, social constructs, and the Black experience among the working class between the hundred years that have passed.
